BISMARCK, N.D. - Dozens braved the weather this morning to make Great Strides for the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis.
The course is lined with stories and quotes from people fighting the disease. The group hopes to raise about $30,000 a year from its Bismarck events to help research treatments.
"It doesn't stop and it's something you've got to stay on top of all the time, constantly, so as a CF dad it's your focus, and everything is about keeping your kid healthy," said Mike Zimmerman, CF Dad.
