Burgum, Hoeven, Bakken release statements on plane crash

Governor Burgum, Senator Hoeven, and Mayor Bakken have released statements regarding the Metro Ambulance plane crash northwest of Mandan, which killed 3.

Mayor Bakken:


“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life of these individuals who selflessly dedicate themselves to saving the lives of others, and provide this vital service to our communities. We send our heartfelt sympathies and prayers to the families, friends, and colleagues in the medical and first responder communities.”

Senator Hoeven:


“Mikey and I are deeply saddened to hear of the air ambulance crash last night near Mandan. Those on board were committed to serving others and providing life-saving medical care. We extend our condolences to their families and loved ones.”

Governor Burgum:


“We are deeply saddened by the news of last night’s airplane crash that claimed the lives of the pilot, a paramedic and a registered nurse – individuals who dedicated their lives to saving the lives of others.
