Gov. Burgum signs Constitutional Carry Bill into law

BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. Doug Burgum has signed legislation into law to allow Constitutional Carry in North Dakota.

The legislation allows law-abiding citizens to carry a concealed handgun if they have had a valid driver's license or state ID card for at least a year.

It does not change the places designated as off-limits to conceal carry.

It takes effect Aug. 1.
