Golfers support Prairie Grit adaptive programs with tournament at Vardon

Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports hosted its benefit tournament at Vardon Golf Club Monday.

The event raises funds for the organization's youth golf program for adaptive athletes at the same site.

"We're really excited to continue the adaptive golf program here and just give chances where they don't always happen for people with disabilities," said Drew Hanson, Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports fundraising director.

Thirty-six teams turned out for the tournament.
