Girlfriend of man accused in Williston murder arrested for hindering law enforcement

WILLISTON, N.D. - The Williston Police Department says the girlfriend of the man accused of murder has been arrested for hindering law enforcement.

Court documents show 35-year-old Jennella Roberson first told officers she had not been in contact with Toussaint for a week.

Roberson eventually said she left the Days Inn parking lot before Reginald Toussaint shot and killed Cesar Pineda last Friday, and called Toussaint the next day according to officers.

Witnesses say a female matching Roberson’s description was at the scene when the shooting occurred, and video surveillance shows Roberson and Toussaint fled the scene after Toussaint shot Pineda, according to police.

Roberson’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 2.
