GSI Trial rescheduled for man accused of touching a minor

The trial for a man accused of touching a child inappropriately in Bismarck has been moved.

Forty-four-year-old Michael Pickell is charged with gross sexual imposition after a child told her legal guardians he had touched her when she was 4-years-old.

The affidavit says Pickell admits letting the child swim in his pool and taking her to the bathroom to wash her off. Records say he told police the child had her clothes on the entire time and denies illegal sexual contact.

His trial is scheduled for May 1 at 9 a.m.
