MINOT, N.D. - This weekend bring the chance to enjoy great music while benefiting a nonprofit charity.
Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Grand Hotel, the Community Rocks Orchestra will perform their fourth annual concert, which will consist of a variety of rock and roll hits from the 60's, to today and everything in between.
This year, the concert will benefit Minot’s YWCA and help the shelter gather items for homeless women and children.
“The YWCA certainly supports a much needed population and provides a valuable service for the community of Minot,” said Erik Anderson, Community Rocks President.
Lauren Moore, YWCA Executive Director, said, “At the end of the day, this goes for the women staying in our shelter, they deserve a safe, sanitary place to lay their head at night."
The event will take place at 6 p.m. Tickets range from $45 to $60 and you can purchase them on www.ywcaminot.org.
