MINOT, N.D. - Health experts from across the Magic City took over the North Dakota State Fair Center Saturday for the first annual Minot Health Living Expo.
Bikes on display at the Healthy Living Expo.
The show, which was put on by iHeart Media, featured booths from healthcare providers such as Trinity Health and Minot-area chiropractors, nursing students from Dakota College at Bottineau, and several companies showcasing healthcare products.
Visitors could donate blood with United Blood Services, get advice on good posture, and even try out a new bicycle.
“We thought that it's just this time of year, it's really good for people to get out in the community and start thinking about healthy, with New Year's resolutions and everything, let's kind of keep that going in February, keep those resolutions going,” said Chad Wright, event organizer with iHeart Media.
“We really like to encourage our customers and our community to be as active as they can be. And most of our employees, we love getting out and riding bikes, so the opportunity to share our love for that and our expertise is really fun here,” said Beth Feldner, an even coordinator with Scheels.
Organizers say they plan to bring the expo back next year.
