Figure skaters show off their skills

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Bismarck Figure Skating Club is showing off their talent with a public show, featuring 150 local skaters.

Skaters dressed as cards and tetris pieces keep to the theme of "A Game Changing Night."

The Capital Ice Chips recently performed at nationals and this weekend's performances will be the last for some of the skaters who will be moving on.

"It's really rewarding. I have to admit I think we all get a little teary-eyed watching the show, and watching the older girls interact with the younger ones, and sitting with them and clapping for each other," said Becky Gallion, ice show director.

There are two more shows, 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Several hundred people show up to each event which helps support the skating teams.
