Federal grant supports 'Project FindSafe' at Minot State University

A department at Minot State University received a federal grant to find a way to prevent injuries to those suffering with forms of Dementia.

A program within The U.S. Department of Justice awarded The North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities $150,000 over three years.

The money will fund Project FindSafe, an initiative that aims to respond to and reduce the times patients with dementia and those with disabilities get lost or injured.
