Federal funding to support ND nursing facilities impacted by COVID-19
The federal government will send more than $16.3 million to 59 skilled nursing facilities in North Dakota for COVID-19 response efforts.
The funding is made available under the CARES Act through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The money will be used to combat the effects of the virus, and address increased operating expenses and lost revenue.
North Dakota senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer announced the funding Friday.
