Farm Rescue founder to lead 2019 North Dakota State Parade

MINOT, N.D. - Bill Gross, the founder of Farm Rescue, will serve as Grand Marshal for the 2019 North Dakota State Parade.

Gross, who received his degree from the University of North Dakota, founded the organization in 2005 that comes to the aid of farmers facing crises, such as illnesses or natural disasters.

His selection comes with this year's parade theme of "Salute to Agriculture!"

The State Parade begins at 9:15 a.m., Sat., July 20 near the intersection of East Burdick Expressway and Broadway in Minot, leading up to the State Fairgrounds.
