BISMARCK, N.D. - A 54-year-old Fargo man was arrested late Monday evening for pointing a gun and threatening a 32-year-old Bismarck man near his home in south Bismarck.

James Motl was charged in district court Tuesday afternoon for terrorizing.

The victim says Motl followed him to his house, and when he approached the suspect's vehicle, he pointed a handgun at the victim.

An affidavit reveals that Motl owned a .45 caliber pistol that was loaded and has a red laser sight mount on it described by the victim.

Court documents say the suspect is the victim's ex father-in-law and he accuses the victim of breaking into his ex-wife's home.
