Fair weather gets Bismarck driving ranges open

As warm weather drives winter away, the driving range at Riverwood Golf Course is open.

Opening Day at the driving range is like Christmas morning for golfers. The managers here at Riverwood Golf Course said they couldn't wait another day to get it open.

The Pro Shop already had customers getting their season passes as the store put out their new equipment. Doug Walters is an avid golfer ready to shake off the rust and get back on the greens.

"We always look forward to it. It's been a long winter and for those who don't get down south, we can't wait for the course to open,” said Walters.
