FBI continuing investigation into death of Olivia Lone Bear
The FBI is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Olivia Lone Bear.
The body of the 32-year-old Lone Bear was found in a vehicle in Lake Sakakawea on July 31. The recovery of her remains ended a more than nine-month search after she went missing from the New Town area last October.
A spokesperson for the FBI says the length of the investigation is due to the fact that Lone Bear was found in the water, and at this point, they are not ruling anything out.
Lone Bear was laid to rest Aug. 6, and supporters marched across the Four Bears Bridge in New Town the following Thursday in her honor.
