Energy Transfer Partners amends lawsuit against 3 environmental groups

The developer of the Dakota Access pipeline has amended its billion dollar racketeering lawsuit against three environmental entities, adding five people as defendants.

The move by Energy Transfer Partners came after a federal judge in criticized the original filing as vague and threatened to dismiss it.

Energy Transfer Partners filed suit one year ago against Greenpeace, Earth First and BankTrack, claiming they worked to undermine construction of the pipeline.
