MANDAN, N.D. - Energy Transfer Partners made a formal presentation of a $3 million donation to the City of Mandan.
The money will be used to build an atrium onto the Morton Mandan Public Library, as well as park renovations, and a housing unit for their Book Mobile.
"It's huge. We don't have a lot of huge companies that are able to contribute like this,” Mandan Mayor Tim Helbling said. “And I hope a lot of the larger companies in the Bismarck-Mandan area in the metro will step up and help us complete this project, but Energy Transfer Partners have been great."
The first half of the donation has already been submitted to the city, while the other half will be donated next year.
