Emergency crews respond to incident at Minot Air Force Base housing

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE – Emergency personnel on Minot Air Force Base responded Friday to an incident at a residence on base housing, a spokesperson for the base says.

They say the incident is limited to one residence, and no one was hurt. The nature of the incident is unclear.

Minot Air Force Base released the following statement to Your News Leader.

β€œOn Jan. 10, 2020, emergency personnel responded to an incident in base housing on Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. In an abundance of caution, emergency personnel wore personal protective equipment to respond to the incident at the house. The event is currently under investigation.

The scene has been terminated and no hazardous materials have been found.

Emergency personnel have terminated the incident. No hazards were identified and the scene is secure and safe. There is no risk to base personnel. We appreciate all those that stayed clear of the incident to allow emergency personnel to respond.”
