Early morning fire displaces Minot family

MINOT, N.D. – Minot Fire investigators say an early-Thursday-morning house fire displaced a family on the city’s northwest side.

Fire crews responded to the home in the 200 block of 25th Street NW shortly before 6:30 a.m. and found smoke coming from the basement.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the blaze, but the residence incurred heavy smoke damage.

No one was hurt.

The Minot Fire Marshal and Minot Police are investigating.
