MINOT, N.D. - Trinity's CancerCare Center received $5,000 from Duemeland Real Estate as part of the organizations efforts to give back during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The CancerCare Center already received $36,000 in donations this month from the Tough Enough to Wear Pink campaign. Duemelands says this donation is special for all the people and families that have been affected by breast cancer.
“My grandmother is 96 years old and still lives by herself and is a breast cancer survivor. We also have numerous people within our organization that have been affected by breast cancer, loved ones. So I really wanted to put money toward this cause,” said Jill Duemeland, Duemeland president and CEO.
A spokesperson from Trinity says that the donations are very helpful for people in need of financial assistance for a variety of out-of-pocket expenses.
