A police chase that started in Mandan Saturday evening ended in Bismarck early Sunday morning.

Mandan police say after an officer ran plates on a vehicle, he noticed the plates didn't match the registration for the vehicle.

The person registered under those plates also had several warrants and a suspended license.

When police tried to make a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle sped away.

The pursuit started on Memorial Highway, and ended on the corner of 4th St. and Main Avenue in Bismarck.

Police say the driver of the vehicle fled the scene, and the passenger is in custody.
