Downtown Minot Business and Professional Association using funds to decorate Main Street

MINOT, N.D. - Downtown Minot is starting to look a lot like Christmas.

With the money raised from the Haunted Parking Garage Party, the Downtown Business and Professional Association decorated Main Street for the holidays.

The decorations include nutcrackers, snowmen and, of course, ornaments on the big tree.

“To raise that money, it took a lot of volunteers, and it took a lot of businesses coming together and doing a lot of things for free and to light up all of the tree, and we are also lighting up the tops of businesses as far as we can go on Main Street and a little bit on Central Avenue. And we are tapping out every single cent of it. As we promised, all of the proceeds will go towards lights and speakers and all the Christmas lights for downtown,” said Debbie Harris, Owner of Fiancée.

You can see all of the Christmas Lights, including the tree lighting Friday at 6 p.m.
