Don't Buy It Until We Try It: Sock Aid

By  |

MINOT, N.D. - Sometimes doing a daily task like putting on your socks can be difficult, but in this week's don't buy it until we try it, Stephanie Rank tries a product that claims to makes that task easier.

Some people have a harder time putting on socks.

"Bending over and it's hard getting it up in place," said Merle Routledge, product tester.

That's where the sock horse comes in, it claims no more bending or straining.

The device includes two rubber grips that are gentle on even the most delicate of socks.

"If you use it a few times and get used to it. It works pretty nice," said Routledge.

Then you slide your foot into your sock and it should fit like a glove.

"Oh I think it’s a good deal after you use it once or twice it works pretty nice," said Routledge.

We even tried the device on compression socks and it worked out fine.

"It seemed to work pretty nice," said Routledge.

Making this product a worthy investment.

" I think it would make it a lot easier to get your socks and stuff on so I'd give it a thumbs up," said Routledge.

The Sock Horse sells for about $10 and if you have any ideas for my next "Don't Buy It, Until We Try It" feel free to send me a message on Facebook or email me at
