Don't Buy It, Until We Try It: Chefman's Egg Cooker

By  |

MINOT, N.D. - Breakfast lovers know how frustrating it can be to cook the perfect hard-boiled egg, so this week's Don't Buy It Until We Try It, tests a product that claims to make that task a little easier.

Sometimes it's difficult to make eggs just right, they're either too soft or too hard. Chefman claims its egg cooker can prepare your favorite style of egg in minutes. So we headed over to Homesteaders to test it out.

After water was put into the pan, it was time to test it out.

"It’s very convenient because you can just put your eggs in there and for a family they could make potato salad or deviled eggs," said Pat Cone, Waitress at Homesteaders Restaurant.

The product can cook eggs in a variety of ways.

"If you want soft or medium it goes according to how much water you want in it," said Cone.

Then came the taste test.

"It’s good," said Cone.

Making this product, sunny side up.

"I give it a thumbs up, it's very convenient," said Cone.

The Chefman's egg cooker sells for about $20.
