Dismemberment abortion bill passes ND House

BISMARCK, N.D. - A ND House bill that would ban human dismemberment abortions has passed in the House by a vote of 78-13.

House Bill 1546, however, does allow this type of abortion in emergency cases.

If a dismemberment abortion is performed in a non-emergency case it would be a class C felony.

The bill will now go to the Senate to be voted on.
