Dickinson, N.D. - You can't send your kids back to school without supplies. But the more children you have, the more expensive it can be.
Darla Dalrymple of Dickinson recently asked on Facebook if anyone needed assistance buying school supplies.
Dalrymple ended up spending more than $200 to help four families. She says it was a fulfilling gesture.
"I've noticed lately that there's a lot of people that are laid off, or having hard times, and I remember those hard times from when my husband and I first got married and had small children, so we just decided to help out," said Dalrymple.
Dalrymple says she plans on providing school supplies for families again next year.
