ROLETTE COUNTY, N.D. – Fallen Rolette County Dep. Colt Allery didn’t get to attend his young son’s graduation this week.

So Allery’s colleagues in law enforcement stepped up, and helped the youngster celebrate the accomplishment.

Allery’s son Zennon graduated Wednesday from his head start program. Several members of local law enforcement, including police and the sheriff’s department, stood in for their brother in blue.

Allery was killed in the line of duty in January of 2017.
