BISMARCK, N.D. - The man charged with hindering law enforcement in connection to the Ulises Villalobos attempted murder case will have his day in court another day due to weather complications.
South Central Judicial District Judge James Hill says canceling Juan Nunez preliminary trial was a logistical call because they didn’t want to put anyone at risk.
Hill said in court Monday afternoon that no prisoners are going to be transported from the detention center because of the white out.
He said Nunez will probably be rescheduled to Friday, but it hasn’t been updated on the court docket.
Hill says he doesn’t know if there’s any reason to try Nunez and Villalobos together, but it will be determined at a later time.
