Our traveling garden is in a very fun yard with lots of color and lots of ideas. I’m with Janelle and we are on North Mandan Street in Bismarck.

She grew up in this house. We have before pictures like from 30 years ago or 40 years ago, and now we have where we are now.

And you mix your own soil mix, right Janelle? And you put in four ingredients with your mix. I know it’s baking soda and Gypsum.

Janelle: And Bio Tone starter and Epsom salt every single time.

And things really grow for you, you know it works and you don’t get bugs. You have many containers among other things here tells us about your pots. You have three main principals you adhere to when your growing things in pots.

Janelle: When you’re looking to plant in containers you want to start with the spiller then you want to go with the filler and then the thriller, so anything tall is the thriller.

Yeah and the spiller hang over and the filler that’s gorgeous.

So lots of ideas. You can move them around folks, you can still plant things in a pot now. Have some color you can have it all around when you go in your yard.

Lots of good ideas can we come back next week and do some more?

Janelle: Absolutely.

So thanks everybody for watching. Until next week, good gardening.
