Dalrymple signs emergency declaration to manage public safety at Dakota Access Pipeline protest near Cannon Ball

Gov. Jack Dalrymple authorized a restricted emergency declaration Friday to make additional state resources available to manage public safety at the Dakota Access Pipeline protests site near Cannon Ball, N.D.
Dalrymple's executive order does not include activation of the North Dakota National Guard, but makes sure other state resources will be available to protect the well-being of the general public and those involved in the protest.
