Motorcycles weren't the only thing revving up the attention at the Elks Lodge.

For the eighth year, Brother's Keepers Motorcycle Club and local businesses dished out hundreds of gallons of chili for the Dakota Zoo.

The zoo is planning to create new enclosures and organizers say since the zoo is 100 percent privately funded, this is one way the community keeps the zoo alive.

"The community helps us out so much, they are so supportive of what we do. Our attendance with the zoo as our backer, you know, with helping them out, it's been amazing," said Eric "Rebel" Vetter, Brother's Keepers Motorcycle Club President.

Vetter says the gathering has become so popular, people flew in from Texas to experience tonight's chili cook off.
