Dakota Stage Opening Night

BISMARCK, N.D. - It's opening night at the Dakota Stage for Clue the Musical, inspired by the classic family board game where you solve the murder mystery. There are eight characters, including all of the originals: Colonel Mustard, Professor Plum, Miss Scarlet and more.

Each cast member has put in more than 100 hours into rehearsals... and the crew expects more than 100 people in the audience. This play is different because the audience gets to select the murderer, the weapon and the scene of the crime.

“The actors have to make small line adjustments, and prop adjustments, so that they can reflect the accurate outcome. But the outcome will be different every single night so it keeps the actors on their toes. It creates a little bit of chaos but that little bit of chaos just adds to the excitement,” said Emmalee Riegler, theater director.

Showtime is at 7:30 p.m. starting Thursday through the Oct. 7 and again on the 12-14. There is also a matinee at 2 p.m. on October 12.

Tickets are $26 and $23 for students, military and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online or through the Box Office.
