UPDATE--Services restored following cut cables in Minot
FRI. UPDATE: A spokesperson for SRT tells Your News Leader that all customers had services restored as of 9:30 a.m. Friday.
10:30 p.m. UPDATE: A spokesperson for SRT tells Your News Leader an outside entity, not SRT, was doing work when they hit a major fiber cable and a copper cable, leaving multiple services are down.
According to SRT, between 1,000 and 1,500 customers were impacted by the outage.
They said crews expect to be there all night, due to the scope of the cut, and hope to have services back up by Friday morning, weather permitting.

ORIGINAL STORY: Some residents in southeast Minot may have trouble logging on to the Internet Thursday night.
SRT announced that cable lines were cut earlier in the day.
The area between 13th Street SE and US Hwy 83/South Broadway near 31st Avenue could experience interruptions to phones, Internet, and cable.
SRT said they have staff on site to determine the damage.
