BISMARCK, N.D. - A new administrator is getting started at Custer Health with the new budget.

Keith Johnson is retiring after 31 years as the Custer Health Administrator. Replacing him is Erin Ourada who has worked at the department since 2014. Her first project as administrator is the mother and nurse partnership program.

"I'm excited. Some days I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, but I'm still very excited about the position, and I've been having meetings with everybody and things seem to be going good, and I have a long list of things to look into. Just small changes, and ways to make Custer Health even better than it already is," said Ourada.

The nurse and mother partnership program began at the beginning of this month, two families are already enrolled and the program has room for 64.
