DUNN COUNTY, N.D. - Three hundred seventy barrels of crude oil and 660 barrels of produced water spilled at a facility in Dunn County.

The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality says the incident occurred Sunday about 8 miles northwest of Halliday.

The spill was caused by an equipment failure after high winds caused a power outage, leading to tanks overflowing.

Most of the spill was contained on site, but high winds pushed some materials into nearby land.
