MINOT, N.D. - Construction crews have begun demolishing the north segment of Minot's Broadway Bridge.
A week ago crews moved all traffic to the current southbound section of the bridge.
Traffic now moves one lane in each direction.
The intersection of Broadway and Central Avenue is shut down.
Also, northbound drivers are not allowed to make a left turn on to 4th Avenue SW.
Once the northbound lane is rebuilt, traffic will then shift to the new-look northbound lanes, and crews will begin work on the southbound section of the bridge.
Both the City of Minot and the North Dakota Department of Transportation have information on the project, including detour routes, on their websites.
