MINOT, N.D.- Here is what is going on around you in Wednesday's County by County.

In Burke County, a new K-9 will soon be joining the sheriff's team.

Through public donations and a couple of grants, the Sheriff's office bought a new K-9.

The dog is from Germany, but will be doing a 12-week training program in Minnesota starting in March.

The training is split up into three periods of four weeks, with specialty programs for drugs, apprehension and search and rescue.

After the training, you may see a new K-9 face roaming the community as a new member of the department.

The Dakota College in Bottineau is highlighting one nurse instructor's achievement.

Paige Baade completed her Masters Degree of Science in Nursing this past December on top of a very busy lifestyle.

The College says she completed her degree from Presentation College in South Dakota with a GPA of 3.92.

Congrats Paige and good luck with everything.

Over to Renville County now at the Mohall Public Library, this Friday kids have the opportunity to let their imaginations take shape.

From 3:30 to 5 p.m. all kids are invited to make Lego creations at Lego Club.

After the kids build their works of art, the library displays them on the top of their bookshelves with a label of what the child called their creation and a description of what it is.

There is no need to register for the club, just walk in and build away.

If you have any questions, you can call the library at 701-756-7242.
