In Ward County, if you're on the Air Force Base and want to start a business, this is a learning opportunity to take advantage of.
Tuesday at 9 a.m., the base is hosting a two day "Boots to Business" class which is a free program to teach skills on how to start a business.
The class is offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration as part of the Department of Defense Transition Assistance Program.
All Veterans and Service Members along with their families are welcome to enroll in classes.

On to Wells County now, the Fessenden-Bowdon School FFA is putting on a blood drive Tuesday in the old gym at the end of main street.
Anyone in the community can donate, but if you're under 18 a parents consent is needed.
You can not donate if you aren't feeling well.
There are still time slots open to donate and if you are willing or know anyone who is willing give give blood, anything helps.

In McLean County, on January 14, 2020 starting at 10:30 in the morning the Northland Health Centers Mammography Truck will be at the Turtle Lake Clinic.
A reservation is required along with a referral from your primary physician, but this is an opportunity for any woman to receive a mammogram.
It is recommended you call your insurance ahead of time to see if it covers the costs.
