In Ward County, if you are a new or expecting parent, this class is for you.

It's a free series class given the next several weeks where you can learn about baby care, bonding, attachment, safety, health, and sleep, along with many other topics related to raising a child.

It's at the NDSU extension, Parent and Family Resource Center from 6-8 p.m.

There is a class Monday, but the classes are also offered for the next couple weeks, so you still have a chance participate if you choose.

In Bottineau County, a new major scholarship was announced at Dakota College at Bottineau.​

The Hometown Career Scholarship will give up to $2,500 dollars for about 40 new students from Bottineau, McHenry, Pierce, Renville, and Rolette Counties.

The scholarship is given on a first come first serve basis.

To be considered for the scholarship, students need to submit an application for admission and pay a $35 application fee by March 15.
