MINOT, N.D.- Let's take a look at the stories in Friday's County by County.

Let's begin in Ward County, there are so many talented people and Saturday they get to showcase it in the 4th annual Minot's Got Talent.

You can watch 10 acts at the Aleshire Theater at MSU's Hartnett Hall from 3 to 5 p.m.

Judges will select the top three acts to receive cash prizes and then there is also an audience choice prize. How it works, when you get to the theater, you will receive a ticket where you can vote for your favorite act at the end of the show. The audience choice winner also receives a cash prize.

Tickets are $10 at the door and online STEAMND.org.

This is a family friendly event where you can enjoy acts many different acts ranging from singing to ventriloquist and everything in between.


In Wells County, A Valentine's Day Supper cooked, served and then cleaned up by the Fessenden Firemen.

Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. for $40 a plate, it's an all hands on deck with the firemen catering to the public in a social supper.

All proceeds go directly to the Fessenden fire department and they say the money will be used to upgrade equipment and gear.

The event is at the Festival Hall at the Wells County Fairgrounds and 244 plates are going to be served.

Let's go over in McLean County now where you can support another fire department.

The Garrison Fire Department is holding their annual fundraiser called the Buffalo Feed and Dance.

Dinner begins tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. at the Garrison Auditorium. After dinner, at 8:30 p.m. the dance floor opens up so you can cut a rug.

There is live music by Brianna Helbling & the Outsiders.

Tickets are $20 in advance. They are available at the Garrison Firefighter's, Garrison State Bank, Garrison Insurance/ WI Realty, Chase Pharmacy, S&J Hardware, & NDFM.​
