MINOT, N.D. - In Monday's County by County.
In Ward County, a child's safety is a parent's number one priority, and the Minot Fire Department is helping ensure they are as safe as possible while on the road.
Tuesday, beginning at 3 in the afternoon, Minot Fire Station 1 is holding free car seat checks. The address is 2111 10th St. SW.
They will check to make sure your seat is properly installed and even teach you a little bit about the car seat.
You don't need to make an appointment, just show up and leave with a peace of mind.
This is for all counties. There is a lot of talk on the coronavirus, with airlines changing flights and many being quarantined to stop the virus from spreading.
Although there aren't any confirmed cases here in North Dakota, The North Dakota Department of Health wants to keep you as up to date as possible. They created a page on their website with information about the virus, along with the affected areas of the world.
