Coronavirus disrupts online prom dress orders

BISMARCK, N.D. - The coronavirus is already disrupting stocks and manufacturing -- and now, prom-goers are feeling the effects.

The owner of KooKoo's Nest in downtown Bismarck says girls who ordered dresses online won't receive them in time for prom, so she's trying to come to their rescue.

Kookoo’s Nest Owner Kinzey Fockler said, "We are here, we're local, so what our customers love is they can find something here, in the store, try it on, insure that it fits, and get instant gratification and take it home and not have to worry about getting that email and worrying about prolonged shipping."

Fockler says it's a win-win; her sales are spiking and clients and parents can have peace of mind.
