Cold weather causes power outage for 720 Otter Tail customers

Extreme cold weather and high winds caused a brief power outage early Tuesday morning for 720 Otter Tail customers in Hurdsfield, Turtle Lake and McClusky.

Rebecca Michael, the public relations supervisor for Otter Tail Power, says the outage occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. and service was restored around 5:30 a.m.

Michael says if customers are still experiencing power issues they should call 1-800-257-4044.
