ROLLA, N.D. - A Belcourt woman arrested for selling drugs at a Rolette County store during her shift will serve just over three months in jail after pleading guilty.
Rolla Police, the Rolette County Sheriff's Office, and Border Patrol conducted a sting on a business, after police found drugs during a routine traffic stop and traced them back to the store.
Police arrested Angela Wallette, who later admitted to selling some of the drugs and trading some for marijuana. The drugs had a street value of roughly $700.
The judge ordered Wallette to ten years, with all but 93 days suspended. She will be allowed to report to jail later this week, and will receive credit for 27 days already served.
Police say the store owner assisted in the investigation.
