City of Dickinson expecting to announce snow emergency declaration

DICKINSON, N.D. - The City of Dickinson is expecting to announce a snow emergency declaration overnight Friday night.

The city says crews have begun to treat roads for ice in anticipation of heavy snow starting Friday night through the weekend.

A press release from the city says once the deceleration is in place, any vehicles parked on emergency snow routes will be towed at the owner's expense.

The city is also asking people to limit parking on non-emergency routes too, to allow plows to get around easier.
