All of the most used parts of the Bismarck website are now at your fingertips on your device. A new app has launched for the City of Bismarck to help citizens be more involved.

This is the new mobile app. You can look up meeting agendas, the city calendar, or pay your water bill.

"It just makes it easier for people to engage with the city, to ask questions, and to get the information that they need," said Gloria David, Public Information Officer.

The app was created as part of the city website redesign project. The whole project cost the city just under $31 thousand.

"We're just making it convenient for people on the go. We know how busy everyone is, and while we always have our website from desktops, and you can access that from the mobile devices as well, this is just quick, easy, and handy, " said David.

Android users can find it on the google play store by searching Bismarck, ND. Apple users can find it by searching for CivicMobile, and then typing Bismarck into that app.

"Everything is app based now as far as our society and just moving around it so we thought we'd offer that app and I downloaded it here the other day to try it out, " said Steve Marquardt, City Commissioner.

David says that the app has been in developement for about the last six months.
