Star Trek fans, take heed.

Five cast members from the current show “Star Trek Discovery” will be participating in a panel discussion during the upcoming iMagicon in April 2020.

Organizers of the annual comic and gaming convention made the announcement Thursday.

Doug Jones, Hannah Cheesman, Sara Mitich, Ronnie Rowe, Jr., and Patrick Kwok-Choon will appear at the 6th annual iMagicon.

Convention-goers will have the chance to meet with the cast members and ask them questions.

Jared Adams, one of the event organizers, said it shows the growth of the event over the years and commitment to Minot.

“The fact that we’re able to attract this kind of attention and bring these kind of guests so that the people here in the Midwest and here in Minot can come out and see them, that really says a lot, that we, we’re here to stay, and we’re here to grow, and we’re here for the masses,” said Adams.

Adams also said they are planning a friendly competition at the convention that will support a pair of area charities.

He also said there are more big announcements coming up.

The 2020 iMagicon takes place April 24-26 at the Minot Municipal Auditorium.

Tickets are already on sale, and more information can be found at the link attached to this story.
