BISMARCK, N.D. - Carrie's Kids, a nonprofit in Bismarck, begins its winter gear drive distribution on Friday. It offers a variety of winter clothing for children from ages 5 to 21 years old.
Carrie Grosz says children have to be present with their parents or guardians when picking up items to make sure everything fits. She expects to help around 600 to 800 people in the community.
"Well, it's winter time and if our winters are going to be anything like our fall or our summer, we want everybody to be cozy warm and we have been blessed well by some beautiful blankets that we would like to see somebody take home," said Grosz.
Carrie says it's by appointment only, and there are designated time for people to visit. She says if you need winter gear, to send her a text message, no calls, at 701-390-3201.
