Burn ban issued for Stark County

A burn ban is now in place for Stark County, and emergency services says anyone who violates it could face jail time and a $1,500 fine.

The burn ban includes fireworks, garbage burning, campfires, fireplaces and burning of farm or cropland.

Officials say gas and charcoal grills and smokers are okay.
