DUBUQUE, IA - A North Dakota dog with a penchant for the long jump is taking his four-legged talents to the world stage.
Bentley, a four-year-old golden retriever from the Burlington area, is competing at the 2019 Dockdog World Championships this week in Dubuque, Iowa.
His owner Kayla Wolff says he’s competing in the ‘Big Air’ discipline against 56 other dogs in the master division.
Kayla shared some cell phone video of Bentley’s jumps Wednesday.
She says he’s currently ranked 19th and will jump again on Friday to for a spot in the finals this weekend.
She says he’s the #1 golden retriever in "Big Air" so far in worlds.
